Insect Soap is a contact insecticide, miticide and fungicide for the control of soft
bodied insects, mites and the fungus- powdery mildew. It is based on
potassium salts of naturally occurring fatty acids. It leaves
no lasting residues and is completely biodegradable, with no long term effect
on the environment. It is a contact insect soap that works by smothering
and dehydrating insects.
What pests can Insect Soap control?
Adelgid, aphid, caterpillar,
earwig, lace bug, leafhopper, leafminer, mealybug, mole cricket, plant
bug, psyllid, sawfly larva, scale, spider mite, tent caterpillar, thrips,
whitefly, gypsy moth, and chinch bug. Insect soap, when used as a soil drench,
can control springtails and root mealybugs. It also can prevent and control
powdery mildew.
Can Insect Soap be used on edible
crops?
Yes, it can and you can use it
right up to the day of harvest. Use it on fruits, vegetables, flowers, ornamental
and shade trees and shrubs. Insect Soap can also be used in greenhouses, on
lawns and on your houseplants!
