What is 1600 X-clude?
1600 X-clude is truly a product that's right for the times. The active
ingredient is natural pyrethrum (from chrysanthemum flowers) and it is
microencapsulated to work better and longer with lower mammalian toxicity potential.
1600 X-clude is a microencapsulated (timed-release) insecticide
packaged in a ready-to-use aerosol canister labeled for resale to retail
consumers and interiorscapers. Labeled for use in Hobby Greenhouses,
Homes, Interiorscapes and Landscapes on Potted and Flowering Plants,
Foliage, Bedding Plants, Cut Flowers and Ornamentals.
How
Does X-clude work?
The semi-permeable capsule wall protects the natural pyrethrum from air,
light and other conditions that would otherwise break it down quickly.
When the product is applied, the water around the capsules evaporates,
allowing some of the active ingredient inside to diffuse through the
capsule wall. This forms a thin coating of exposed pyrethrum ready to
work. The microcaps easily adhere to the bodies of the targeted insects.
Just a few are required per insect to get the job done.
What bugs does it work against?

How do you use it?
Indoors: You can spot spray pests as needed or use a s direct spray
on floors, walls, behind shelves and drawers. For ants you spray at all
points of entry, into nests and trails.
For flying insects it may be used indoors as fog spray.
You use a 5-8 second spray for 1,000 cubic feet or 5-8 seconds per 100
square feet. You do need to leave the area for awhile after treating.
Outdoors: 1600 X-clude can be used to spray on
screens, around doors and windows. Any place that pests can enter.
Plants, shrubs: Apply when air is still. Use a slow
sweeping motion holding the can 18-24 inches from the plant. Use only a
light mist on foliage as you don't want to actually get it wet. For rows
of plants you would spray at the rate of 1 foot per second. Comes with
complete application instructions.
